Managing Sub-domains

You can create and manage sub-domains from the control panel. Access the sub-domains management functions, selecting the Sub-domains icon on the Domain Administration page. The sub-domains management page opens, listing the sub-domains existing under the domain and corresponding FTP account names used for managing them:

 

To create a sub-domain, follow these steps:

  1. Click Add New Sub-domain. The Sub-domain creation page will open:

     

  2. Enter the sub-domain name in the appropriate field.
  3. Select the FTP account user the sub-domain is created for: the owner of a parent domain or another individual.
  4. Define FTP login, password, and specify hard disk quota if needed.
  5. Enable required scripting capabilities to be supported on the sub-domain.
  6. Click OK.

To open the sub-domain URL in browser, click

To edit hosting account of a sub-domain, select the required sub-domain name in the list.

To remove one or several sub-domains, select them using the corresponding checkboxes, and click Remove Selected.
